“4 passi per un ducato” is a new dynamic association of young tourist guides, regularly entitled to work by the local Institutions.
At the moment we are around 10 people with artistic or literary degrees, some teaching at school or specialised in history of art: we are entitled to work in English, French, German and Spanish.
We guarantee our professionalisms by attending several specific courses and stages in order to keep us up to date; but, most important, we are deeply interested in promoting the touristic value of our land.
Our wish is leading you to discover the natural, historical and artistic highlights of Parma area, as well as its gastronomic tastes, by involving and charming you with the peculiar atmospheres of the ancient Duchy.
From the pink marble romanic Baptistery to Correggio’s and Parmigianino’s frescoes; from the innovative wood theatre of the XVII century to the luxury of the Regio Theatre; let us also enjoy the music of Giuseppe Verdi’s land, the calm water of the river Po and the villages where Giovannino Guareschi was born; let us not forget the castles and medieval fortresses, the wines, the food (Parmigiano Reggiano, Prosciutto di Parma, Culatello di Zibello)… our tours are created to address the needs of all visitors, to avoid any boredom, to involve and satisfy any kind of tourists’ curiosity.
